I was considering either that or a hedgehog lately.

Hedgehogs are rad. When I was really small, my dad took me to this indoor zoo type place. They have all kinds of exotic reptiles and such behind viewing windows (the poison dart frogs are amazing). Anyways, there was a small section for mammals (with a really cool prairie dog exhibit. There was a piece of glass that when down into the dirt so you could see all their tunnels, like a giant ant farm.) and there was like a giant mouse-maze with a hedgehog in it that you could pet. I was small, so I didn't expect the spines on the hedgehog to be sharp, so when I went to pet it I pressed to hard and got a sharp prick. It was pretty startling as a small child.

Moral of this story is, hedgehogs can be sharp, but they are indeed sweet animals.

Okay, while we're at it with the association story thing, the first time I saw prairie dogs at a zoo, there were five of them, all reeeeaaally cute. But then they got a little jumpy when a female crawled out of her cave. They chased her and caught her and then all five of them raped her while I was watching. Thats my take on prairie dogs.
Later that day I also got bit by a monkey because I stuck my finger in his cage (Getting bit by a monkey feels like biting an apple, just that you are the apple) and I also touched the penguins and the zookeeper therefore threatened to throw me out the zoo.
I never got any diseases from the ape bite by the way, but I sure was worried because it was one of those monkeys from the outbreak movie.
