pretty self explanatory. maybe some recipes or sandwich ideas to bring to work too?

today: falafel from the street vendor around the corner. in a pita, lettuce, tomato, onion, and white sauce.

fuck I overdosed on falafel in brussels and the thought of one makes me gag, it gave me the worst gas, and the most biggest perfect round log shaped shits. ugh. I'm talking stinky ass farts and huge round shits that come out real smooth, in between soft and hard in terms of firmness and a perfect brown color. shit is gross man.

Thinking about a microwavable teriyaki bowl for lunch, or a deli sandwhich.

Butternut squash soup my wife made last night. Yum.

It's hard for me to stay motivated packing a lunch because there's a tortilla factory across the street that has $2.99 lunch specials. Comes to like $3.29 with tax and includes a small drink, burrito of your choice, rice, beans, chips/salsa.

I had that last night except I had peppers and onion instead of mushrooms. For lunch I had a bagel sandwich with jalepeno humus and veggies and some chipotle corn soup, it was pretty tight.

I woke up at about 1 so, i guess a bowl of frosted flakes would count... and they were grrrrrrrreeeeeaaaaatttt.
But im probably gunna go for round two here, which will probably consist of grill cheese sangies and tomato soup... or some kind of salad or sandwich.

grilled cheese and tomato soup is such a good combo. munster cheese preferred. put some cheese on top of the soup and its money

just got back from the dining hall. i had a light dinner early last night, no breakfast this morning, and just returned from a cold early morning session. i was hungry as fuck:

- salad with iceberg lettuce, shredded cheese, kidney & garbanzo beans, olives, and ranch dressing.
- big burrito w/ rice, pinto beans, guacamole, and grilled chicken.
- a slab of cornbread on the side.
- granola mixed with chocolate and vanilla pudding.
- a banana, plus a raisin and almond muffin on the side.
- all accompanied by lots of water and two glasses of chocolate milk to go with the dessert stuff.

EDIT: i just made it and realized i was out of cheese so i tossed a spoonful of cheesewhiz in and half a bottle of the green jalepeno hot sauce and i think i might have a boner. my mind thanks me but i know my anus is about to hate me.

I pack a lunch and make a sandwich nearly every night. Today was turkey. I cooked the turkey myself last weekend. Turkey on whole grain with mustard, mayo, lettuce, cheddar cheese, tomatoes and pickles. I usually like to put avocado on there, too. I switch up different meats and cheeses. I ate a cute tangerine too.

One perk to working in an uptight, overpriced, "gourmet" lunch bar.. is a free lunch every day. Also, anything else I can grab when the bosses/rats aren't looking, including a bunch of samples from an amazing pastry/dessert shop.

Usually for lunch I get a slice of works pizza and garden salad with strawberry dressing.

my girlfriend makes me my lunch almost every night

deli turkey, lettuce, tomato, mustard, mayo, cheese, lil' hot sauce, pesto sauce, all in a nice whole wheat wrap.
apple, granola bar, and a bottle of water

I like the wraps, good for lunches, and also good for making home made quesadilas

i disagree with gravel pitch, im stoked on this thread!

i realized i spend $5 a day if i dont pack my lunch and that $5 each time i work adds up quick. with that said, peanut butter and jelly, every day. (strawberry jelly)
