Its so funny how shit changes, 5 years ago people would buy shoes for features like G2 (since we are talking sole tech) stuff that actually helped your feet or other things that help make the shoe last. Now all kids seem to want is a thin shoe that looks like and will fall apart in no time flat and also not help your feet.

yeah i saw danny skating this shoe at downtown showdown.

and im into the insole technology like the reynolds cruzer shoe has a really nice g2 insole or something but i just like a shoe thats thin and i can feel my board and people have been wearing thin shoes forever since day one. (slip ons and era's and whatnot) now it just seems to be the dominating trend

That looks like a Reynolds concept that he didn't use.  Nice but that look is the new thing.

I agree with what you are saying and I assume since you brought up slip ons and eras that you pay for your own shoes. Its just crazy seeing the change from the younger kids that beg their mothers to buy them shoes and also skate stairs.

It reminded me of a thinner version of Spanky's shoe, at first. I see the Forte resemblance but can't see the Laced resemblance.

It's like the Spanky with Forte laces.

the edward is nothing more than a slightly less hipster moron spanky shoe. sole techs new idea of manufacturing the same shoes under all 3 brands is fucking regular, they honestly think theyre fooling people.

thats the only page in the catalog.  it comes out in only like 2 months (june).

and as far as sole tech making the same shoe from all 3 brands its so accurate.  Its one shoe out of a whole line and so way maybe dude who ride for es wanted a think (era style) shoe.  doesnt change the team and the companys image.

Fucking horrrrrrrrible looking, they wouldn't last me a day of skating. I hope people really don't try and skate in these and if you do you obviously just cruise around otherwise those things look like they could handle tops 8 hours of real skateboarding.

I'd say thats for the better.....I was tired of seeing those dumb gimmics advertised.....that G2 bullsht was just about as useful as the tensor slider piece

I see it but I think it looks more alike to the Spanky. But shoes tend to look alike. People's feet are different sizes, but not shapes. Plus, I can guarantee you that most of the time someone will yell out "Half-Cab ripoff!", if you post a picture of a mid top.

If it has a long toe cap and the lace hole area isn't attached to the toe and is only partially attached to the side of the shoe, has only a few lace holes, then it is considered a chukka low rip off.
