Well, I haven't really liked Mike York since his "Mouse" part, so I can't say that I'm really bothered, although I'm sure he's a cool guy and everything. But....life changes, and you can't stay pro for ever, especially in the highly-competitive world of skateboarding. I think a lot of the lesser pros, who have reached the 30 mark, will start falling by the wayside soon. Besides, it's not as if he's dead or has stopped skating is it? He'll still be out there having fun, getting blowjobs off chicks because of his name. Lucky bastard.

That said, I just think he's gone downhill from there; Chocolate Tour - average, his Yeah Right! part was bloodly awful and that was 3 years in the making. I'm just saying that eventually these companies are going to have to start looking for fresh riders, especially if the veterans aren't coming up with anything new.

Skateboarding isn't a static activity, you have to keep up or at least try and come up with something new, especially if you're a pro..I have respect for longtime riders like Henry Sanchez, one of most awesome street skaters ever, who never really got what he deserved...compare him with York, you can see why they let York go...
