Okay, god dammit.

When the whole Skate Talk thing happened, I was away from my computer. I got back and saw the chat, and someone said, "Did he just give away that Jerry Hsu lost his game of skate?"

I trusted that dude.

At least I was pleasantly surprised! Jerry Hsu is my favorite skater.

kenny anderson got 'choked up' and blew this one for himself. so what though? this game clearly shows how even professional skateboarders get stiffed up under pressure...i'm just hyped; they're both cool dudes, kenny deserves a round of applause for his efforts, that was one of the best games I've seen filmed at the berrics. no monotomous bullshit, just straight, clean, dope skateboarding that you ordered when you decided to view the video on their website.

man, regarding the berrics in general, all of these dudes are getting hooked up out the ass for producing these games of skate and any other exposure on the berrics website. jason lee buys ads with his fellow 'actor' and associate steve for jason's company, one back gets scratched as another gets gently licked.

maybe its just not spoken enough about how much the berrics is worth, but my guess is that within the year it could be worth 1.5 to 2 times more than it is now.

honestly I'm just surprised a 'rival' video interaction website involving skateboarding hasn't popped up yet. i know a lot of people on here bitch about the 'berrics' format and creative spin' (or lackthereof in some cases, I'm just an outside critic like the rest of us.)

would it be surprising if another site similar to the berrics became just as possible within the next year? probably not, attempts have already been made by other businesses like transworld and aren't NEARLY as popular.

but you never know...

that game was great even though anderson got skunked. i don't think any of us knew hsu had that many good tricks consistent. i called him to win but i didn't know he would win with that big of a margin. if hsu gets first trick, even against some of the heavy hitters, he could go pretty damn far.
