You miller lite yankees should definetly try Hoegaarden (and Euros too!)

fuck off, not all americans drink that miller trash. have you had anchor steam? their liberty ale and fall seasonal humming ale are both quite fantastic, in fact just their regular steam beer is always delicious. what about russian river? sannctification sour ale? its like a straight punch in your god damn worthless fucking taste buds. bet your triflen self has never had that shit. its like nothing you'll never have because you drink pussy ass wheat beers like whore garden. sure wheat beers are nice every once in a while during the summertime but in the winter time, its dark beers and liquor. maybe next time instead of fingering your dead mother, try anderson valley winter solstice or shiner holiday cheer? yeah i said shiner, and yes i know their regular beer sucks balls but their holiday cheer is something worth waiting a whole god damn year for. fuck you and everything you do because you dont know what good beer is you cunt, kill yourself and happy holidays!

i best be getting my triflen self some goose stouts then. their 2010 matilda was awesome too, nothing but flavors of apricot and it was damn guuud. the 2011 matilda, on the other hand sucked balls.

Fuuuuuuck I'm waiting on a friend of mine to come and visit. he has 09-12 of bourbon county stout. Also when did everyone start venturing out and trying new/ different beers? I started my second year at college thanks to a fake I.D.

OMG!
The liquor store by me has a bunch of cases. I picked up 2 four packs the other week.

Found?  a sixer of Celebration yesterday. Ooo . . . Yeah!

[close]

i was pretty let down by these, i bought a sixer for thanksgiving and it just tasted like regular old sierra to me. i had the anchor steam holiday brew last year and i remember it being super tasty. so maybe i had my hopes too high expecting something very flavorful like the anchor was.

thats a shame to hear about the celebrations for you. anchor christmas beers this year taste like root beer floats. and like martha stewart always says. "its a good thing"

Been pretty stoked on the Christmas brews as of late. The anchor steam one is really good if you're into hearty beers with spices and it's surprisingly east to put down a few in one sitting.

Ah yeah, the 2012 is the one that I've been repetitively consuming haha. There's a bar down here in LA that has it on draft which, speaking of, just remembering that I might go for a lone Sunday night brew there. It's super good - highly recommend it. Try going to a local beer store or non chain liquor store.

First off, calm down man

Also I was mistaken on the title it's Lower De Boom, and it's a keg beer only. Coming in at 10.5% it's incredibly dark, rootbeer colored, tan head. Real malty and traces of dates/ raisons/ figs. Great full mouth feel. Careful though it definitely put me on my ass

Does anyone else wish these beers came with some sort of useful description instead of a poem? I've had most of them by now, and they're all good, but I didn't really know what I was buying.

sixpoint diesel is the shit.

narwhal was alright, a solid RIS. I much prefer founders imperial stout or bells expedition.

drinking some victory headwaters pale at the moment. really like it.

i've been drinking these lately too.  seems like the they dialed back the spices a bit in this years batch, which i kind of like.  it's very drinkable.  at 5.5 percent you can drink these all day.  which i plan to do since i'm off for a week

These two ain't too shabby when it comes to seasonal brews.

My sister got me a $100 gift card to this amazing liquor/beer/cigar store. It's like Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory except with Alcohol.

For Christmas I got a home brewing set-up from my dad and I'm so stoked to start my first batch. The first batch is going to be a double IPA that's around 9% abv which I'll start next week after more research and preparation. I was also checking out some clone recipes and am going to try to replicate some go-to favorites like Sierra Nevada Torpedo and Arrogant Bastard. I like beer. It's good for you.

I love the Trader Joe's vintage ales and it's such a good deal for 4.99. This year they had a new seasonal ale which is a belgian style golden ale and it's awesome too. It's 5.99 for a 24 oz bottle and it reminds me of a Avery white rascal. Not sure if they sell this at all the Trader Joe's but I love it and it's 7.5% too.

I drank a shit load of good beer in Austin.

You and the D00D have turned this thread into a horrible head-on-collision between a short bus full of regular kids and a van full of paraplegics.
