Just got a bottle of Firestones Anniversary ale, and was lucky enough to have Bourbon County stout on tap as well as Stones 2010 Old Guardian.

Had some of this yesterday. Pretty damn good.

You and the D00D have turned this thread into a horrible head-on-collision between a short bus full of regular kids and a van full of paraplegics.

Any of you ever heard of River Horse? It's a local brewing company here in NJ, not sure how far it's distributed.

Oh and my stepbrother got me a das boot glass for christmas, stoked.
[close]

Yes for the second time. Its my favorite brewery. They are distributed through Hunterdon, and if you go on the Hunterdon website they list the states they distribute to. River Horses Belgian Freeze and Double Wit are must tries.
Oh, my bad. I've only had their Tripel Horse. But I work at a liquor store and we have both of those so I'll be sure to try them.

And tangar, had the Sierra Torpedo the other night, quite good. You should try their Celebration if you haven't already.

Sucaba 004 is releasing tomorrow at the Paso Robles brewery and Barrelworks.  apparently they're going to have all versions on tap.   i'm tempted to do a road trip, skate Solvang, have some samples / buy bottles combo

visited a few breweries over the weekend

Noble Ale Works - cool place.  Citra Showers (that everyone is jizzing about) is really good but i don't think as good as other similar citra IPAs.
Pizza Port San Clemente - finally went to one of these.  great place.  the Pseudo IPA really fucking good
Bruery - first time being there and using my Reserve Society membership.  had Chocolate Rain on tap.  amazing.
Bootleggers - the have some amazing IPAs (Knuckle Sandwich, Far Out) but the tasting room staff leave a bit to be desired

we stumbled upon this store when we were there, im pretty sure it was called Good Beer and it was really close to DQM and a few blocks from Supreme and Katz Deli.

of the new "session ipa's" that's the best easily available one i've had. boulevard's is kinda whatever and founders all day is decent. green flash citra session is off the hook, but was draft only.

Session Ales really need to become more prevalent in the beer scene. While I do love heavy hitters, I hate being that guy that gets slammed at 3 pm due to DIPAs and the like

first time i drank one i had the red one out of a snifter glass and it was super good, when i tried it out of the bottle it wasnt as amazing. so my advice would be use a glass if possible. black one is good too.

@Tangar - the Uinta Hop Notch you posted on the last page, that's one of my favorite IPA. It's a perfect representation of the style. It's one of the fullest, and most well balanced IPA's on the market anywhere. Love that stuff.

Been killing Half Acre Daisy Cutter Pale Ale this week. Phenomenal and I want to try more brews out of the Half Acre Brewery.
