I've been able to get a few bottles of Satan Red at the Binny's by my girlfriend's house so I've been hoarding them every chance I get.  I was only been able to find it in Belgium and the Netherlands for the longest time so I'm afraid I'll lose it again.

Thanks Floop. I can't wait to try the SN Pack, supposed to be here next week. The whole areas only allotted 10 cases, so it might be a shit-show.. Wish me luck

Can't remember if I've mentioned but we started getting Victory here on the East side of St. Louis a few months ago, Great stuff.

Can't wait to see it again

Love the brandy notes in the malt

I might call it an imperial porter, but damn if this didn't instantly become one of my favorite beers.

As did this one. Not that DW and HD didn't, either, we've just only had these two for the past couple months.

Speaking of Porters, been on a little kick with this the past week.

"Enjoy By 9/29", so 8 days old. Always a treat; great balance of centennial and chinook. (dirty glass, I know)

Bottled 6/3 and still as juicy as any other 1-2wk old IPA. Cheers

Does anyone know if certain states aren't receiving Beer Camp Across America 12s? been checking in with all the local stores and still no sign of it.

We just ran all 12 on tap. Very nice. Alt Route is the last man standing.
Got a bottle of the SN Rain Check from a friend, http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/140/122667/ , going to open that up tonight I think.

Went over to Cellarmaker two days ago to drop off kegs and talk to Tim and the guys and drink some beer. Some of the best beer in the Bay Area hands down. Plus City Beer is right around the corner....

i've yet to get my hands on the Beer Camp pack.  heard they had it at Costco here.  been too busy

in other news our house is getting tented for termites.  out of paranoia i moved all my beer to a friends last night.  i'm sure sealed bottles would probably be ok but for peace of mind i didn't want to risk it.  i was shocked to see how much beer i have just in my house.  mind you, i also rent an off site cellar where i have way more beer.   the take away is, i have way too much beer.  need to slim down my collection

just find a bar that's doing the tap takeover. the 3 floyds chico king and the ballast point were the hoppy hilights. torpedo pilsner is nice, too. the russian river yvan the great is great, too as you might expect. the double latte stout is pretty outstanding as well. that leaves 7 i could i easily take or leave.

gonna grab some w00tstout 2.0 tonight, hopefully. the first one was pretty incredible. too bad this one is an SD only release.

nice one

i need to go to Belgium some day

spent the weekend in El Segundo as our house was being tented.  El Segundo Brewing has some great IPAs.  for you LA dudes, strongly recommend picking up Hop Tanker if you see it.  it's easily the best double IPA i've had to come out of the LA area.  Nelson and Citra.  dank as fuck, tropical, oily mouthfeel.  it's amazing

did you side by side with rochefort and st bernadus?

IMO the experience of drinking a westy far outweighs the quality.

I went to a bar I don't normally go to with some buddies last night and they had The Lost Abbeys Agave Maria on tap. It was delicious. The oak and chocolate really meshed well with the tequila. I had 2 glasses and was majorly buzzed. They were selling growlers of it but they want $80 a growler. No thanks to that price.

that's pretty frickin high, but the bottles were not cheap either.

i can't imagine a scenario breaking open a growler of Agave Maria, unless it was a doomsday scenario

true about the taste, but the watered down coke has no alcohol. I wanted a piss poor buzz.

I just wanted the growler because NJ(at least my area) didn't get any in bottle. Also they even said the keg would be kicked by today. I just wanted the growler because I knew it would be all I could hold on to.
