I'm in the bathroom drinking a lagunitas IPA, shitting, taking a break from my wife and kid.  Right now that's my favorite beer.

It was fucking awesome except for the last day when me and my gfs brother got into some shit with the locals at a bar because I was wearing my ravens gear and obviously everyone there was patriots fans. We got the boot from the bar and avoided the cops an I was still able to get one last heady topper in. Probably the best snowboarding trip I've taken.

Yeah pretty much. I was fine with all the shit they were talking, because I find it extremely funny whenever a Pats fan tries to talk shit on the Ravens. What I wasn't cool with was when we were trying to shoot (me and her bro were playing pool) they would purposely knock into the table. Then one of them decided to smack my stick. Well me having my face being made out of shit at this point walked over to their high table which had all their wings and beers on it flipped it over onto them. Next thing I knew it was just a tornado of fists and shoves. Some locals had my back which was cool because I had played pool with most of them all week. I'm not proud of it but it was a fun bar rumble.

It was pretty wild. My gf brother hit a guy with a pool stick. We made real good friends with the bartenders and they let us get out of there without consequences. The only reason for that is because the bar is in the resort and they're giants fans and hate when people not staying in the resort come to the bar which is every Friday because its a sick bar. I'm really glad I wasn't arrested. Never been arrested out of state and don't want to be.

Currently drinking this years Weyerbacher Insanity, and fuck is it delicious! Its better than the previous years. Hands down my favorite Barleywine. So much vanilla, oak, and caramel. Really boozey too. Im maxing out on 2 right now. Also picked up a bottle of Terrapins French Toast Wake N Bake. Anyone on here try it? Im expecting good things considering their regular WNB is basically delicious crack. Also NJ pals rejoice! Hunterdon is going to be getting Bells!!

My store got the FTWNB and it sold out in a couple hours. Wish I could have picked some up.

Where'd you hear about Bell's?

Heard it from one of the Hunterdon Reps, the owner of the Bar I work at, and a few other people. Theyre working on a deal. I hope Hunterdon gets it over Shore Points because they suck at distribution in Southern NJ. New Belgium should be hitting NJ in the summer I believe which is awesome because I like their stuff as well.

I'm tapping a keg of this Monday.

Stoked.

I'm trying to finish the flyers and info details for SF BEER Week events. Let's just say 32 taps of Barrel Aged Beers (plus epic bottles) for Friday the 13th.... The list is pretty good.
Saturday the 14th, Bitter Valentines Day, will be 5 breweries (Altamont, Auburn Alehouse, Berryessa, Six Rivers, and Heretic) Single IPA, Double IPA, and special "Triple IPA" releases (ZZ Hop, Scarcity, Evil3, Six Rivers is brewing me a special "triple ipa" just for us.)
Stoked.

Still sour at no bottles of Red's this year, but this is delicious. Green hop flavor up front quickly yielding to a ton of roasty rye flavor.

Pardon the glass. Have been drinking these a little quicker than I'd like  :P Need to try to make them last all year, though I rarely successfully do with anything. Besides that, I've mostly just been enjoying the seasonals and case discounts-

Need to get a case of the January batch while it's still a week old.

Drinking this now out of that new DB glass. Cheers!

Just had the French Toast Wake & Bake, and it sucked. Super watered down, cinnamon didn't work well with the initial flavors/ingredients, and it was jujst bullshit all around. Really disappointed considering regular WNB is the shit.
