Stella's pretty good. Same with Guinness. I'm not much of a drinker to begin with, so my opinion is pretty weightless.
Weed's my personal preference.

How is it? Huge Evil Twin/ Mikkeller fan. Going to their bar Torst this weekend. Just had Stones Green Tea IPA, and wow. Must try. Also had victorys Hop Ranch. Love it. Ordered some Deschutes The Abyss and Avery Tweak.

I've been super into Malbecs lately.  They're pretty much the only wine I have been drinking since May or so.

I have a Malbec blend that I'm saving to share with the girlfriend: 70% Malbec, 18% Bonarda, 12% Syrah.  The guy who recommended it says he likes it better than a lot of straight Malbecs that he has had.  Malbecs can have a very pronounced aftertaste (dry and not bad at all, just very distinct) and apparently the Syrah helps smooth and round out the aftertaste so its not as pronounced and the flavor is more consistent.

It's the first one on this page:

Great beer. Super rich, but not overly sticky. Blueberrys were right there the whole time, on the nose and very present throughout the taste. Finished super clean, a little bit of toasty/light smokey bitterness to clean the palate, super sippable for 12%

I just brought a Green Tea home. I'm working on SF Beer Week stuff so I might be up late late late and pop it open. It's 10%+ :o

Fuck with Argentina (Mendoza region specifically) grown Malbec. Great region.
Fun fact: Malbec is one of six Bordeaux varietals that make up Bordeaux Blends. This is the home of Cab Sauv (left bank of Bordeaux, the right bank is dominated by Merlot).

In the never ending lawsuits against craftbrewers world... red bull files complaint against Virginia's Old Ox Brewery, cause apparently the consumers might confuse the brands because “An ‘ox’ and a ‘bull’ both fall within the same class of ‘bovine’ animals and are virtually indistinguishable to most consumers.

Read about this. Red Bull and Lagunitas( they recently tried to sue Sierra) can suck a dick. Also any NJ pals im going to be bartending at a new up and coming gastropub called the Gaslight. Amazing food and beers. Im pretty sure im getting Alpine( yes Alpine!) in a week or two.

they did, but alpine had been brewing at green flash for a long time before they got bought. hasn't hurt the quality, though. nelson is as amazing as it's ever been.
