you own a town and a bar?
Look I'm not selling anything that doesn't have my jizz on it. I don't care how much is offered.

First of all, naming a shop Enjoy, when Enjoi already exists is pretty lame.  There was this ridiculous skate camp every week, basically babysitting kids around the shop while they skated the miniramp. none of these kids were older than 12, and they just complained about shit, begging for free drinks and just being generally annoying. then I find out I'm getting paid $100 every two weeks, which for time time that I was scheduled to work, equated to almost $3 an hour. But Daniel pays cash under the table and writes it off on his taxes as a donation so he can get away with it. One day I'm getting bitched at for supposedly mismarking board sizes, but incorrect sizes of boards were sent to us. After working there and trying to kick it with Haney for a little while, I realized that he's one of the most narcissistic people I've ever met. I got tired of dealing with him, and it wasn't really worth the tiny bit of money, since I had to drive 30-45 minutes to get there every day, so I quit after two weeks. then he doesn't even pay me, when he was supposed to.

I think it's funny how stoked on those shoes he is. He used to talk to me about how Brad Staba was his worst enemy, and how much of a little bitch he was. I always wanted to say something to him about how Staba's part in Nervous Breakdown is better than every bit of footage than Haney ever got. 5050's and boardslides get old after a while, no matter how big and weird the rail is. Especially when you do 18 of them in one video part.

Staba's dope. He's killing it with Skate Mental. D3's were super sick. I miss seeing them around.

What a dumbass.

He should totally risk his image and millions of dollars selling weed to kids he doesn't know.

chad fernandez - when i was 15 at a world demo i knew very little about skating at the time and asked him about the pranks in baker2g and he told me to fuck off, rick kosick over heard it and was thrilled that i offended him (which i had no idea i did) and he then high fived me

rick mccrank - awesome guy and very responsive to annoying kids

sluggo - trunk loads of used product back in the day to the lesser fortunate, he is a super nice guy

ed templeton - very nice guy, put up with a lot of drunken dudes asking him for drawings

josh harmony - easy going and respectable to everyone

malcolm watson - chill as fuck

braydon szafranski - outgoing party guy he was pretty nice

I slowly read this thread over the past two days. Funny how many people repeat their cherished stories.

Just over 10 years ago I saw jon west across a large empty parking lot. My friend was tryin to tell me it was him but I didn't really believe him. So I whimper shouted 'jon west'. It came out sounding like a statement, and he then walked across the entire parking lot to us and I was terribbly embarassed. He was super cool tho, and we talked about film and he asked me what university I was in, I was 14...

I also was wasted(I hardly ever drink) at the fully flared premiere and introduced myself to alex olson by telling him he would have made his father proud. He was cool but that's a fucking ridiculous thing to say to a stranger. More memorably I got to hold the master beta on FF which was the only hard copy at the time.
I;m sure i;m not the only dc/monster/subaru type guy here

Over the years I've met a bunch of cats, but most recently was about a month or so ago when I was in SF... Bubblegum Tate and I were sitting outside Deluxe bullshitting and all of a sudden the first Olson came walking up... we were both in a bit of disbelief but when he came back out we got to bullshit with him, and I gotta say he's fucking awesome! The minute you talk to him he gives you a vibe like you've known him forever, and even invited us to a session (I missed it because I wound up getting sick, goddammit). Tate should have his own version of this pic as well:

I met Brandon Biebel at this 3 block in Sacramento, he switch bigflips it in his yeah right part i believe. we were skating it and i landed a kickflip, he siad it was a cool kickflip, it wasnt really the biggest thing i think he was just being nice. He was super cool though, me and my friends used to know this dude who was kinda in with a lot of sacramento heads til he moved way to philly or something like that for college.
So you knew a dude that knew other dudes?

It sounds silly when you put it like that but yeah haha, i met appollo cutts through that guy all those years ago too (2004 or 2005ish, i remember thats life had just came out) but yeah we got to go skate spots with a few pros thanks to ol Denskee (his real name was dennis but thats what we called him) stefan janoski judd hertzler omar salazar and a couple others, the day he had to hop on the plane to philly i remember he pocket checked some fat goth kid walking by the skatepark (with a skateboard in hand for some reason), and when he showed him he had no munny, he snapped the kids deck then left home to pack. him and my other friend used to keep me laughing all day with their hi jinx, those dudes knew how to have a good time
