playoffs in a few weeks. pretty sure that the cavs will make it to the finals but i'd like to see them play the celts in the semi's and the magic in the ecf.

Man I've been going to Suns games my whole life and have never gotten to sit in the lower level before. I didn't even know where to look for the score since the scoreboard wasn't at eye level.

I was lower level, 20 seats up from the Suns bench. Leather seats, and access to the Lexus Club box which sat right over the seats we were in. And it was the Suns/Spurs to boot, a rivalry that used to be the shit when those two teams were ruling the west. I've got a soft spot for the Spurs 'cause of that rivalry and root for them as long as they're not playing the Phoenix. Plus I love the Big Fundamental so I was stoked to watch him play that close. G. Hill too.

Shit I'm rambling like a little kid but last night was one of the best b-day presents ever.

What's up with Kobe sitting out tonight due to tired legs? I guess it sends a message if they can beat Denver without him but I'd think they'd want to send a message in case they meet in the playoffs.

I'm thinking unless the Lakers get healthy and light a fire they'll get knocked out round two.

the lakers have disappointed me this whole year. they are in no way as cohesive offensively and especially defensively as they were last year with trevor ariza, and they've been pure shit since after the all-star break, yet they're still a lock for the 1 seed out west which blows my mind. i've watched them lose to all the contenders for the title this year, i've seen ron artest get shitted on by every star player of the opposite team, pau is still a vagina more or less, and even tho lamar odom should win 6th man of the year, their second unit isn't something to be afraid of. i've been saying all year denver or dallas could easily be in the finals playing cleveland. kobe's been injured all year it seems like, so a rest for him before the playoffs is alright by me, i seen bron bron not playing either tonight.

their stats this year are almost identically the same. LA goes nowhere without odom's production off the bench. no disrespect to jamal, he's a scoring machine, but that's about it.
