oh, and i have another question for you--you play banjo, right?  i just got one, and want to get some good books or something to learn how to play.  any suggestions?  (i play guitar already, so i just need to know about banjo-specific fingerpicking techniques/ chord structures).  thanks, meow

 I use a thumb pick and I grow my index and middle finger nails out to pick the strings instead of those metal picks. You can play it Scruggs Style or Claw Hammer. I play Scruggs. It's pretty easy to figure out chords. The four main strings are the same tuning as a guitar except the bottom which is tuned to D. That's a step down from normal guitar tuning so you just have to move a step up on the bottom string to play whatever chord you want. Hope that makes sense
