a straight up bowl of beef pho is the best way to go for starters.  i've tried a few different ones (chicken, pork, etc) but i always like the original beef pho.  just add plenty of lime juice and sriracha sauce for full effect.  it's also an extremely effective cold remedy.

dude, yer blowin it! the best spot in the area is down in jonesboro. it's my secret spot, so i'll tell you about it when you pm me. but i have a vietnamese friend who just opened up a swanky spot in east atl called SO BA (right behind the graveyard). they basically modeled the menu after my secret spot and they have a bar and it's intown. you get a little less noodle and sprouts, but the cuts of meat are superior. get the beef everything without the tripe. it's flank, strip, brisket and tendon (tendon's the bomb, don't be a pussy). fuckin real. the chicken's good too. my homie's vietnamese and the only pho' he eats is his moms, his own, or the pho from my secret spot. so yeah...get your pho' on! best hangover food in LIFE!

My daughter is really picky with food and and even she loves the pho.  My son tried some of my wife's (he's only 22 months old), and he liked it, but my wife forgot she put the jalapeno peppers in there so he quit after a few bites.  It's not the first time my son has eaten really spicy food either (Andy Capp hot fries and it was pure hilarity because he kept asking for more even though the spices were burning up his little mouth).
