haha. it could be worse, i dont think anyone else over here in california even knows who they are. the trendy kids here are super behind the times and super into trash talk and stuff like that. the "weird guy hardcore"/void ripoff/youth attack type bands are really unknown over here.

Total Abuse is one of my favorite contemporary hardcore bands, but in Austin it's insane how many people know them and zero other hardcore bands. They're just into Rusty's mysterious art shit, which im totally down for, but not when hoards of trendy people show up to "punk" house shows and try and mosh and talk about how seeing total abuse is an experience everyone needs to have. hahhahah fucking idiots.
