It's not like i go out of my way to have differing opinions. Hell, my opinions are actually pretty much in line with a large majority of real skateboarders. People on slap are the minority in the skate community. I'm a regular guy in midst of a bunch of old, bitter lames.
I didn't mean to imply that you were faking it or anything, but you're right, your opinions are shared by a lot of
other real skaters... I just don't see the old bitter lame aspect (having said that, I'm definitely old, possibly quite lame).
I think the Pals are all too often confused as being one collective conscious... similar tastes abound for sure, but for nearly every topic we have, there are opinions that run the gambit, you know? Even the white T/brown cords Slap cliche thing has become an inside joke since most dudes in here just wear whatever. I think this place has more nuance than it gets credit for.
