Those khaki west gates actually look kinda fly. Not really feeling the Herman g6 vulc cuz that shoes already a thin cupsole & the vulc look doesn't really fit with that type of shoe but it was smart of them to make the Reynolds low in vulc. I never understood why they put out the lows with the exact same, thick cupsole as mids.

provost should be bummed, his shoe was the go-to in their lineup for a solid vulc shoe, now he's got two more shoes to compete with, that'll probably sell more based on the names alone

always thought the g6 was just hermans pro model, guess im wrong. but the herman vulc looks really good

I had a pair of Bledsoe's first pro Mid, and I always felt so kooked out wearing them and never bought another Etnies shoe since. The irony was that they were a decent enough shoe, it was just mentally I couldn't get past the fact I was wearing Etnies. IMO, they are even below Globe on the sneaker hierarchy. When I think of Etnies, I think of Mall MX'ers wearing the latest Famous Stars and Straps gear. Metal Mulisha types.

This latest offering is getting slightly better, but damn if they don't still have a long way to go.

Yea, these are probably the first etnies that have actually appealed to me, they look light as hell, and fun to skate in, I'm liking the resurgence of the runner esque skate shoes, takes me back to 2002.

I like what etnies and emerica are doing.  Same with adidas, and lakai but I can't see myself skating anything other than a vans or cons vulc shoe because they fit my style so much.  I've tried other shoes but looking down and not seeing a shoe that speaks to me makes me feel funny about my skateboarding, but I want to support other companies that are smaller. Im crazy.
