because kids love to be able to make objective statements one way or another to support their biases rather than hold subjective opinions because their brains aren't that developed yet. same reason youtube commenters argue whether rodney mullen or chris cole is the greatest skateboarder ever in the history of time, no room for dispute. it's damned good advertising, man.
light isn't bad whatsoever, it's just when other things get sacrificed.. in DC's case, good taste. DC should just make a commercial with dyrdek not getting on like a complete ponce while pushing those not-too-bad-would-buy-em-if-emerica-and-lakai-didn't-exist toniks in colorways that don't send us all into epileptic seizures.
