The Janoski quality drop wasn't a sway to get people to buy the TE2. It was just their effort to increase their profit margin on that shoe. From things I'd heard, nobody at Nike was sour with Stefan at all about his shoe sales, but they actually can't stop singing his praises for his help in grabbing the majority of the skate shoe market. They bought him out with a lump sum because they can, and he took the money because honestly he'll never see an offer like that again in his life.
