No, I’m speculating like every other person on here. I don’t see any reality where they don’t do a Reynolds shoe.

He’s been on since that Brooklyn park opening per my local shop owner who was flown out by Vans to be at that event

Had the all brown ones back in the day, a really great shoe.
I wonder the reason why is "back". Maybe they found a container full of shoes and + they're having stock issues with the dose because of corona virus. If that's the reason could you please check further to see if you find a container full of MJs?

^^ They have to just be old stock, right? If they were remaking them, I would think they would have changed SOMETHING on the colourway, the insole, the tag, etc. so that when you see them in the shop, they don't just look like 5 year old stock that they forgot to put on clearance.

We actually have some brown/gum ones on the site as well as they were an SMU and we were able to get some to go with the black ones. Nah there's no stock issues. We actually have a bunch of the Dose including a new colorway. There has been some demand for Figgy's first shoe and Figgy brought up bringing them back. We had more made and there isn't any reason to change anything on the shoe. People loved the way they were and if it's not broken, don't fix it. Fuck, I wish we found a container of the MJ's.

Nice. Does they still have they bulky toe shape like in the new pros? I could not tell in your photos.

Or slimmed down like the ‘92 (uprise) pairs?

Am I wrong to be surprised Mike Arnold ruined what could have been an amazing shoe if he just chilled out on the colors? Or just picked better colors. All black everything with white stripes would have been the one.

I'd be disappointed if all he did was black with white stripes. Why have your own colorway if you're going to pick the most basic, common colorblocking possible?

Thanks for the pics, tangar. Those are definitely nice but not the "OG" colorway. They do have the classic "half-cab" logo on the tongue and heel. But they are missing the traits of the foxing stripe and stitching:

Right on I totally didn’t recognize those differences. The only other pair I’ve ever had were classics with the red side logo and I think white stitching. I haven’t even worn my pros yet cause I bought them right before the apocalypse

yes you are wrong about all of this. all of it. none of it is redeemable. such a boring suggestion for a pro colorway, especially when every other adidas shoe has come out in all black with white stripes. the predator colorway is also incredibly similar to what you are suggesting Mike Arnold shouldve chose, but why would he if a very similar shoe is already in production? honestly they'll probably make what you're asking for in a couple of drops if the model sells, but since you asked: yes, you're wrong.

Not trying to prove anyone wrong here, but just want to point out that the current shape of the Classic Half Cab is not the OG shape. The shape changed a lot around 12-13 years ago when Vans changed factories. Before that the Half Cab had a much wider shape and toe, sort of like looking down at a SK8-Hi. Then they got more pointy. I prefer the ones from before the change. Still have a pair kicking around that I wear sometimes.

Not sure which version is more similar to how they would have been in the early 90s or whatever though. Old photos they look kinda pointy too.
