The Provost looks like his Slim pro model with an ollie guard. With the Vulcano (as well as other vulcs over the last year at least), I dont understand that weird squared extra rubber in the heels...yeah, heelflips and varial heelflips, but with the layering of the shoe, it doesnt look right, at least to me. but there's tech in the shoe to some degree, seeing what I could guess is a heel stabilizer showing through the suede layers. And the wingtip rubber toe cap...I dont get it.

And the Fiend 2...didnt he just get his Patriot Mid "with nothing at all to distinguish it otherwise" pro model recently? For Mega Ramp skating, a Vulc shoe is asking for the glue in the sole to start breaking down...lost some good shoes to the Tahoe Woodward West Mega...

Sorry, havent heard from some friends in a while that I'd have these conversations with, so I had nowhere else to put these thoughts.

Looks like an emerica  aa authentic low . Which given how much people like their slip ons over vans isn’t the worst idea .

looks like a HUF Cromer with the rubber bumper in the wrong spot.  don't hate it but if i had to be the one on the sewing machine i wouldnt be happy, not ergonomic at all...

Got the blondeys in the mail today, like @kneebone said, there isn’t much to the tongue and they feel pretty minimalist, dare I even say LRAB-esque? Love the hiking laces, size is tts and perfect fit for me so I’m glad I didn’t half size up. I went 28.0 even though in reality I’m about 28 and a 1/4.

Fallen shouldn't

I just looked at the Fallen site and the only decent shoe was that mid top Adam arunuski shoe. I like they didn't use that cheap sole that's been on every other cupsole they've released. And it doest have that long toe box that a lot of newer skate shoes all seem to havenowadays.

Haven't had emerica vulcs for a while but they used to always seperate at the heel. It looks like it has some rubber heel cup thing maybe it wouldn't stay attached to the sole as well so they added some extra foxing tape.

As everyone's been mentioning, not a fan of the extra foxing on the heel but they both look good.

They tease this shoe so much and clearly have no problem releasing with with Supreme or here, why not just give us an accessible/normal version already?!

I'm guessing the why not is Mike Carroll himself. Vans might just be being respectful and maybe he signs off on certain special ones. There was a very similar cab shoe in the early 00s they could do tho.

anyone know why the gazelle adv is $20 more than the lucas indoor and $30 more than the busenitz 2? Seems like both pro models would have similar if not more tech.
