cons should have pushed the weapon more, they did like two colorways of that. probably more, but it felt like two. i think that was a better dunk replacement.

So are Fastbreaks not durable? I fired on a pair but was debating cancelling cuz the nylon versions seem sketch and I don't wanna have to prematurely glue my shoes.

I have an old pair of the CONS Weapon lows. The build quality is better than the SB Dunk but the toes are narrow. The Fastbreaks actually fit roomier in the toe so they don't mash my toes together even running out of tricks or something. Whatever last or footshape they use for the Fastbreaks needs to be used on other CONS cupsoles because they have a real winner when it comes to fit.

Question for Emericatm, does the Spanky G6 fit like the KSL, or is it more narrow?  On my third pair of KSLs and they fit my wide foot perfectly, but that new blue color for the Spankys is sick.

Hard to guarantee as everyone’s foot fits a little bit different but I’ve got true to size in the Spanky G6 and seems like most others have as well.

Sage is a talented skater and I know there is crossover appeal, but I wish Cons would reward some of their good skaters who skate a lot with colorways.   Haven’t seen Sage tricks since pre-pandemic it feels like

Question for Emericatm, does the Spanky G6 fit like the KSL, or is it more narrow?  On my third pair of KSLs and they fit my wide foot perfectly, but that new blue color for the Spankys is sick.

I've got two pairs of the Spanky G6 in light blue, the width is very similar to the KSL but it hugs your toes much more than the KSL. Whilst I did kind of like the KSL's I had, the Spanky G6 is a nicer shoe overall for me as it isn't as heavy and fits better... and honestly I get compliments whenever I wear them so there's a nice little boost there, ha!

I know it doesn’t look great but I super glue the Ollie area before taking them out the first time and add more as I go. Blow through the toe leather or sole before the nylon that way.

Also, regular width laces!

This. Theyre harder to lace up and tie when putting on but it would save so many laces. Carhartt colab fastbreaks had them and it made a world of difference. Also im pretty sure the toe cap is slightly higher on the carhartt ones as well

I know it doesn’t look great but I super glue the Ollie area before taking them out the first time and add more as I go. Blow through the toe leather or sole before the nylon that way.

Little tip out there for you youngsters who don't know this one:

-Take an old blown out pair of shoes and cut off an ollie sized patch of suede from an area that didn't get wrecked.

-Shoo goo whichever side of the suede is more rough and slide it inside the shoe where you blow through it. If you need it lower, take the insole out first before you glue in the patch.

-Let it dry then wear around for a day to break in the suede patch on the inside.

Now you have a backup suede patch waiting underneath for when you blow a hole through. The shoe goo helps the hole not spread as much and the suede patch underneath is way more visually offensive then a big blog of shoe goo or krazy glue on the outside. Match the colour of the suede to the outside of the shoe and it's hardly even noticeable.

First thought is that the suede on the inside of the shoe would rub your foot and irritate it but I've done this 20s of times and the only thing bad about it is the suede colour rubbing off on your socks.

For whatever reason the patch on the inside does seem to bother me so I normally go bit of cardboard/paper on the inside, train ticket works good and suede patch on the outside. Def doesn't look as good but I'm not usually all that concerned with shoes I'm skating.
Also I lucked out years ago and got these leather sample books from a furniture store, the type they'll have sitting on a couch to show all the colours you can get. A lot easier than cutting up old shoes.

I hope the cupsole samples they’ve shown on IG stories will be produced. I love how the G-Codes looked and bought a pair before Herman left Emerica but their quality wasn’t great. I’d like to have another pair to try out.
