Does Adidas have a shitty supply chain? I'll see the Samba ADV, Campus ADV, and Busenitz Vintage in like one color but it's always mostly out of stock everywhere. I don't want the dead ass heel and tongue of the Busenitz

Can anybody chime in on how the Crockett highs fit width wise?  My foot is a little wider.  Vans old skools fit great, but some of the others I have tried were a little too narrow.  Thanks

No, Adidas probably just doesn't give a shit about skateboarding.

It's been a few years but they don't even label the skate shoes as skateboarding anymore in Aus. They're just originals. People think the busenitz is some old soccer shoe from the 70s.

Anyone know how the fit on the samba adv compares to the fa experimental Adidas. I have the white/blue ones and the dark green/brown ones and I really like the way they fit. The sambas look pretty similar.

Edit: Can anyone tell me if sambas fit similar in the toes? thats really what im concerned about

Jesus Christ, I hope I don’t see a pair of half cabs for 10 years. I know it’s an anniversary but damn, way to shove something we love down our throats so much, it’s enough to make me gag.

I'm gonna be really sad if all these crazy one offs oversaturate the rest of the Half Cabs. Those solid '92 colorways should be staples and I'm already seeing way less of them out there.

I get it- 30 years of the Half Cab, trying to stylize winter shoes, etc., but Half Cabs are the weirdest choice. I have rarely ever seen them on non-skaters and the Vault line nerds probably don't even wear shoes for fear of resale value. I know that VF likely doesn't give a fuck about making shoes for skaters, but I have to imagine team riders at least asking for more versions.

Had an idea but haven't seen them in person. Somebody get the boys of summer Carroll's and shoe polish around the clear foxing and top of the tongue so you get some black Carroll's with white lower tongue and white bumper at the front (or you could black that out too)

Weird, never seen those. All the other listings seem like random cycling gear and some astro-turfs, then all of a sudden some  Gore-Texual Puigs. Couldn't see any sample info on the shoe so maybe it's coming soon or was some mad limited release that never made it to skate shops.

Honestly to me the Carrolls look kinda nice at first glance but I can't get over the bulky high top part. I get why it was there in 1993 or whatever, but in 2022 I would want to see that a bit thinner (like a Jordan maybe)

Not quite but it's a cupsole but low. Soz can't be bothered scouring for a proper colourway but I've seen them in suede before
