Interesting shoe. Been eying muskas now we have another chunky shoe contender. Feel like I’ll need some bigger pants to pull off the puff. Been big shoe curious lately.

It’s such a shit shoe. Bewilders me how wack the adidas skate line has become. The Nora is the only decent new release. Don’t know how they support such a big team of an atrocious roster of silhouettes.

I dunno why they stopped the 3ST series, the .004 was an awesome shoe. Fit well, skated well, lasted a long time. Their pros seemed to skate them a ton too and coulda been a solid line.

Most of the models since have either just been colors, wack shit like these, or TJ's shoe. I guess Nike does the same and Adidas probably mostly sells Sambas and Busenitz'. You'd think for all the design talent and money they have at these companies that they'd do better than these Maite shoes or patchwork Blazers.

Perhaps it comes off as more authentic for Maite? Whereas, with Nora, she looks normie but is quirky, so people likely criticize Nora thinking she is pretending to be quirky.

Not sure, but thats a thought I have on it. Both seem genuinely passionate about their interests, enough to be naturally quirky/eccentric. I'm here for it. We need personality in skateboarding.

Agreed, Pro Models are my fav adidas skate shoes and they’re seeing some love again with their riders getting their own CWs but they should always have the classic white/blacks in those models avail like Nike does with their best sellers.

Superstars = low top
Pro model = High top

Honestly if someone from Dime ever got Bret Hart's agent on the phone, they could make a collab that would create a Supreme-like line outside every skate shop in Canada. Between the colours, the trademark sunglasses, and all the wild skull/heart branding from his old merch and ring gear; Bret Hart and Dime are made for each other, and they don't even know it. Dime's marketing really nails the balance of over-the-top pageantry with a knowing wink to the audience about how silly it all is, which is perfect for a skate/wrestling collab (and also why all the previous skate/wrestling collabs that I can recall have missed the mark).
