Brown hemp reeds were so good!

I dug those and I really liked the maroon/black suedes. Went back and forth between the Kenny's and the Vox Hewitts for a while.

Didn't see this posted yet- 18east just launched some half cabs.

Colorways are clean, but they say it was a 2.5 year development process working with different parts of Vans to make a shoe as close to the ones in the 90's...

Just ordered, will be interested to see how all those details come together.  colors aren't anything 'new' but IMO pretty tasteful

i must have gotten a whatever pair then because mine were made out of marshmallows. all black, thought they looked sick. maybe there was some contrast stitching? it’s been along time, like what? 20 plus years? anyways, they didn’t go with my alien board and 5.0 lo’s, but wanted to try something besides whatever i was into then, probably just mantecas or random ipaths. i could be crossing timelines. anyways, my shams were aptly named and i was over it.

I loved my white Purcell mids. No clue why Purcells are not a regular part of the lineup. Other than the alltimers collab they have not released an all suede pair in over 2 years.

Yeah, I posted it in the upcoming Vans thread awhile back, but not this one. I was lucky enough to snag a tan/black tongue pair in my size. Had to excuse myself from work to do so because I had a feeling they'd fly, and they did. Not to rub it in. I doubt I got one of the first 100 pairs and the mixtape that comes with, but I think it's just a collection of tracks from skate videos. The insole is made from UltraCush so I'm hoping it'll be easier on my feet than the standard OG half cab insole. Really hyped to skate them.

I went full sneaker mode and was able to get in pretty quick at launch... as a 39 year old I have mixed feelings about that haha. 

Just arrived today, super happy with them.  I was able to get the mixtape, but as someone without a cassette player, if someone actually would listen to it and want it let me know.

For those that missed out, I did see them post up that their shop might have had stock still and if you emailed them they might be able to fulfill the order.  This was back on launch day though so not sure if they'll still have stock
