Regarding the price point. I wore Lakai shoes for ~10 years non stop. Nothing else. The Manchester and then the Atlantic were hella good to me. Then my arch collapsed and my feet started to hurt a lot. Around that same time, Lakai raised the prices here in Germany. I can get NB#, Etnies, Adidas and various other shoes for less money as Lakai's. Most of them offer more support too. It's just, that my feet aren't made for most shoes out there.

peeped the lakai catalog. if you were hoping for something interesting to be coming out, I don't see it. looks like they're putting another vulc model out called the York. Herringbone outsole, telford/dunk-like toebox, but essentially a Griffin. Wilkins is getting a pro-model, looks pretty much like a HUF shoes model. Chocolate collab in March, Poler collab in July. I really don't know who's running Lakai but I'm not stoked on the direction they're going in.

Funny, according to some people’s comments, leaving Baker for Violet was basically committing career suicide.  Guess Adidas didn’t get the memo.

All I know is, if they don’t give the reigning SOTY a shoe or some colourways soon, someone needs to fly to Germany and put a foot up Bjørn Gulden‘s ass.

Just saw the lakai jimmy wilkins shoes, looks extremely similar to the lakai Guymar with a little rubber toe cap
