One more vote for #3.
One of my friends had that shoe, in that colorway, and he said it was great. The look of that shoe was the first thing that caught his attention, and he knew it would be comfortable (even with that stock insole), but he was pleasantly surprised at just how durable the shoes were: He got several months worth of skateboarding out of these, WITHOUT having to superglue down any stitching to keep the shoe in one piece. The hidden lace loops are a great feature too.
If they made a mid-top version (for skateboarding, not for hiking) in an all black colorway, I'd be all over it.
