Ya know I’m not completely mad at these, if they really wanted a skate shoe they would drop that sole a lil, it’s still too big to skate with in my opinion, and drop the price, 160 for a basic court shoe is too much, 70-80 with a thinner sole they would have had my money til the end of time

These aren't the original shape. These are the "OGs" which (are not OG but weirdly named so) have been the point toe, puffy shape for the past 15-20 years.

The actual original ones - PJ Ladd style - come out in two colours - all black and all white next May.
The toe, tongue and sidewalls are all different to this photo you have here and look so much better...
I've seen samples as have most stores who did physical sales appointments.

according to their site "Made with high balance and quality, the coat is a skateboarding shoe optimized for skateboarding technology" - given its a korean brand, there's some off translation, but it sounds like they are saying this is a designed for skating shoe, and not just a skatable shoe.

If I remember correctly, someone in some factory lost the molds (?) for the OG Accel's. But my memory isn't the best, so please take that with a grain of salt.

But honestly, if those shoes could hold up to the quality of New Balance I would give them a shot.

Yeah the molds were destroyed like 20 years ago when the changed the tooling originally. So they basically had to dig out the few og accels they had in storage and reverse engineer them to create the lasts and new lasts are like 80-120k which is why sole tech re uses soles so often cause they don’t have money like that anymore. Don brown talked about it on nine club recently.

That is a funny idea for an shoe. Would never buy it but I am also not the usual Berghain or party guy. Just one thing. If you are in Berlin and someone with an eyebrow piercing wants to talk to you. Run. Run as far as you can. But I think eyebrow piercings are due for an return from the younger generation which haven't witnessed the crazyness of the late 90s.
