Crazy, probably but there is definitely a void in the current offerings and someone could provide a shoe that isn’t on the market. I for sure would support a quality barefoot skate shoe with a durable and supportive upper.
Plus, they do running and lifestyle shoes. If selling to skateboarders doesn’t work out, they can focus on the other the lines.
I’m curious because I wear 10.0 due to width, but 9.0 has the perfect length. The extra space in the toe area can throw off my flick. However, I can’t wear smaller sizes because I already have overlapping toes from years of wearing shoes that were too small. These might be what I want, but I don’t know how well they will handle impact.
If more shops get these in, I’ll buy a pair. Cal Skate is the only shop I found that carries these but they don’t have the colorways that I want.
