Anyone else disappointed that Legends AZ is going to be set in one central city? To me, half of the fun was exploration while catching Pokémon. The lack of exploration and addition of "wild zones" just seems extremely lazy for a game that had zero updates since the initial announcement until just last week.

i thought that concept was underwhelming too, a big part of the fun for me in pokemon games is aimlessly exploring/working on the dex. i'm sure we will get to explore in dlc's.

Finished Pokemon Platinum while recovering from sickness a few days ago. I needed to look at a guide for some parts because even though problem solving can be fun (I actually like certain gym puzzles), I definitely wouldn’t be wanting to mess around in the reverse world segment for too long. Also, recovering from sickness meant constant headaches and pains, so not exactly wanting to make my head hurt more. That said, the reverse world is really graphically impressive. In general, I really like the graphics for the DS era Pokemon games. They all feel really nice and polished, and for certain parts I really do take photos with my phone. Even the music really good. Hope to finish Diamond eventually, and then I will have finished all the Sinnoh games.

Playing it now on the switch 2. It’s a lot of fun. The new battle system takes a little getting used to and you got to be fast as you progress with it. It’s no legends arceus but it’s still a lot of fun. Don’t forget to get the mystery gift ralts

Got a good ~30 hours in since release and it's a lot of fun. It doesn't have that same "new" feel that PLA did but I don't think anything could compare to that in the Pokemon franchise in recent games. I love the battle mechanics and there's definitely been some challenging moments to it all.

It's nice to have a range of Pokemon games that offer different gameplay styles. Sometimes I wanna be stressed out and other times I want to lazily post up on the couch watching TV running raid den adventures or just doing some shiny hunting.

I got a little over 10 hours on it from the past three days on the Switch 1. It’s a little addicting. Since I didn’t play PLA, it took a little getting used to having to move the human character to avoid attacks from Alpha and Mega Pokemon.

My only regret is not completing the side tasks in order because I got some of the starter Pokemon at levels 6-14, while the rest of my team were around level 30.

I’m on the fence about getting a Switch Online membership. Part of me wants to complete the Pokedex, but I’d probably be satisfied with just finishing the story. Plus, most of the Pokemon that evolve after trading don’t have stats as good as starters or pseudo legendaries like Dragonite.

I believe, and apologies if I’m wrong, you can complete the trade evolution lines without online bc the final stage evolutions appear in wild areas as alphas as you progress, they’re just rare. If you do get online though and need trades feel free to PM me.

Just hacked my 3DS and got Heartgold. Still love the snes RPG style of gameplay so hoping this scratches that itch

FireRed and LeafGreen got rereleased yesterday.

Also, more info on Wind/Waves got released. It’s coming out in 2027. I guess the transportation in this game is going to be a hoverboard.
