>fastest wallie
>fastest nollie 180

I was skating for a few years before I even attempted any backside grinds on a curb/ledge. Shit just felt weird to me. I got pretty good at a lot of BS grind tricks for a bit, but then i stopped doing them for a while and now I completely lost all of them. One of these days when im feelin it im gonna dedicate a whole session to relearning all of my BS tricks.

On the bank to wallride at our local park I got backside wallride  back 270's out, then our local hot mama's at
the skatepark sat down in their sun dresses. I casually walked into the bathroom and started wanking it while
looking at them from the window.

Was at the park and saw this 13 year old kid that I see there from time to time. A year or two back he had just started skating and was just learning how to 5050 curbs and learning flatground kickflips. This was my first time seeing him at the park in a good year or so and he did a hurricane on the ledge first try, switch ollied the 8 stair, varial heeled the pyramid, and did a bunch of other gnarly stuff. It blew my mind how much he progressed in such little time. I was stoked for him, but at the same time it kinda bummed me out. Seeing a little kid get just as good as me in such a short period of time is kinda disheartening.

But then after that I played some friends in SKATE and landed everything first try and got a few tricks back that I had lost a month before, such a good feeling. Had fun, landed everything clean, playfully talked shit back and forth with my friends as we were playing, fed off each others energy.... it all reminded me of why I love skating so much in the first place.

i really never understood the fact of people getting down cause of someone younger progressing faster...no point in getting bummed..some people progress in certain things faster/better than other..

i have good friend who skated for 3-4 years.. was soo good (youtube Mario Matabele)..got flow from a few companies but after a while got bored with skating and stopped..quit all his sponsors and moved onto racing motorcycles.. some people are good at certain things while some people actually just like things  like skateboarding..ive been doing it for over 10 years and honestly suck compared to most dudes that have been skating as long as i have. but do i care? nope. because i love skateboarding and ill keep doing it til i physically cannot.

Left the house at 12 to skate and didn't come back until around 10 at night. I ended up learned wallies and after learning them I pretty much just did that trick over and over for the rest of the day.Wallies are fun as fuck. As soon as I landed one I would go back and just keep doing it. I've been wanting that trick for a long time and suddenly I realized how easy they are.  I can't wait to go do some tomorrow.

I was warming up. I got some speed and popped a lazy ollie, the board kinda got away from me and I landed primo. I had a nice little tumble and scraped my arm a little.

Got a handful of shinners today. Snakebites, too.

Oh, and on the way to work the other day, I rode over a little pothole and my wheel got caught. I probably took a step and then went right to the ground, landing hard on my knee. Today, when I was skating, the wound on my knee was still tender. So, whenever I did a trick, my jeans rubbed against it and it was very uncomfortable.

This was yesterday, but i was at the local park skating the bowls with some mates and a buddy of mine showed up, and i haven't heard from him in months. So yeah that was pretty rad.

Haven't skated for a month or so due to school, but my buddy hit me up and I had some spare time, so we hit the street.
While skating down a street did a spontaneous kickflip up a curb. Never have done one, felt so good.

Hadn't been to my favorite park in about 8 months.  Went around noon today and was able to get an hour of skating in before the local high school got out.  In my absence from the park, they had completely resurfaced all the ramps.  Needless to say, it was a solid session.

The fact that I can fs flip, tre flip, and fakie flip pretty damn good, but my kickflips suck dick, it just goes to show that no matter how much you progress and learn you'll never win, it's a constant battle, I love that.

I set up a christmas complete yesterday and went out to skate the local park reluctantly. I say reluctantly because I don't really like new gear. I'll skate a board till it'd dead, wheels for months and months on end, trucks for as long as fucking possible. Hell, I even keep skating my shoes with huge holes and not tread just cause they're comfy and I'm used to them.

However, yesterday was different. My new set up felt fucking awesome right out the gate!! Even beat a friend in skate that I never beat!

Stacks 8.25
Indy 139 Koston hollow pros
Bones swiss
jessup grip
broadcast 52mm wheels (made at creative!)
and some fresh lakias!

Last night, was skating around Midtown & spent about 10 minutes trying this kickflip over a chain into a janky little bank thing & had the awesome experience of finally sticking it right as the security guard was rushing out to shitcan me... love when that happens.

Also: there were two cops standing right in front of me the entire time who didn't even glance at me. Fucking love New York...

All the ramps were wet, so I skated the flatbar instead and learned 4 or 5 new tricks. I forgot how good I am at skating flatbars.

Finally skating with some old homies that haven't skated in a while cuz of school, work, etc.

Learned fakie inward heels, learned how to do legit kickflips (I always only landed 2/20 tries unless I popped it half an inch off the ground).
