Skated some flat yesturday with a friend.  Dat autumn breeze and late afternoon sky.

Every trick in the repetoire came easy.

Nice snap, pop, and catch on heels, tres, and fakie halfcab flips.

Fuckin love this skateboarding shit.
I suck at SLAP.

Back after nearly three months due to surgery. Skated flat ground and some curbs whilst the bums that drink in the square bought their drugs and did their thing. Just happy to be on a board again.

Beating a bunch of skatepark kids in SKATE who thought I was some dad there to pick up my kid. Being old kinda rules when you can fuck with people's expectations.

I love this! even though i dont skate as much flat as i use to when i was younger i can still pull out some tricks unsuspectingly when put on the spot haha

Meant to post this the other day, but I got out and pushed around some. Did a few ollies, 180s (switch, regular, nollie, and fakie), and front and back shuvs. It felt nice to get out and push around again.

Skating down the middle of a four lane street in busy traffic and pissing off people in cars and feeling really scared.

i had the worst day of skating today. the worst.  terrible. awful. didn't do one thing i was happy about. After leaving defeated, i headed down over to check on another spot that requires me to skate through the touristy part of the city.
i was just riding through traffic, pushing pretty fast- by no means blasting, and all of a sudden i hear "woaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh."  i could immediately tell it was a little kid.  I looked up just in time to see this 3 year old kid sitting on his moms shoulders just beaming at me.  biggest smile I've seen in a long time. that little dude has no idea how amped he got me on just pushing through traffic.

tl;dr pushing through traffic.
more heaven-cruise than hell-ride.

I had a fuckin beautiful day! Got two lines on tape, my friend got one. Cruised downhill to the next spot with beer, hotdogs and one of those disposable BBQs. Lots of people I haven't seen in like a year. Get drunk while having game of skates. Get home find this:
http://www.tacky.no/longboard/article/?id=123540  LOL myself to sleep. Back up now to get drunk! FUCK YEAH! Skate life <3

switch flips are the shit, got the slow flip high floaty catch going on, they just feel so damn good. nollie tre second try without much effort, i still trip out since i only learned them a month ago after ten years of them not flipping. and did one of those pop shoves where the pop makes an ear shattering solid noise and you can hear the board smack your front foot on the catch. shit like that is why i don't skate with headphones in

Skating was my therapy today. I'm going through a really painful separation from my fiance, and getting out and cruising today was the best I've felt in a week.

I agree. As much as I love music, I will always prefer the sound of skateboarding.

I can't stand skating with headphones in and it annoys me when other guys do. They don't hear you coming but act like its all your fault.

There's nothing like a good late night curb session.

Hit up LES yesterday morning. You know when you work for a trick for a while, and it ends up coming out shitty. Then you contemplate whether it's worth it to keep battling for a good one, cause you may never get it, and then you didn't end the session on a good note, you ended it with frustration? That didn't happen today. Did a shitty bs nollie flip on the hip, then did a solid one very next try after thinking of calling it a day. Fuck yeah.
