new skateboardermag cover - jaws
« on: March 07, 2011, 03:18:33 PM »

Aaron ?Jaws? Homoki, kickflip
?After being forced to seek shelter from a violent thunderstorm with 50+ mph winds, we headed back out on the rocks so Jaws could try to get this kickflip before the next storm came in. The wind was so strong it dried everything up in about 20 minutes. He was able to nail the kickflip just before another front came up through the valley. And just so you know, no wood was used in this photo or any other from the article. Straight rock skating.??Jonathan Mehring, photo

o: oh shit. that's one of the craziest covers i've seen in a long time.
KFC should give cockatiels with their variety bucket, so you can eat one bird and love another.

wow! good cover.  And "15 things you didn't know about Fred Gall" and BA.   I really hope the Freddy article does him justice.
I actually did hit another skater in the face with my shoe once at a demo doing a shoes fly off kickflip but he was cool with it.

Holy shit that's awesome. I remember a photo a few years ago of Tyler Mumma doing a fs air on something like this, but Jaws just blew everything out of the water.

why is his body angled like that? the take off looks almost totally flat, and the landing isnt even half as steep as he is.

#1:

Fred Gall is Fabo Les.

I hope that's how the list starts.

And that Jaws photo is amazing. Really want to see the footage.

idk, his feet look angled at about the same as the bank, it's just the board that's leaning like it's steep.
