i get the general idea of this close footing thing but isn't that how most people ride when they aren't setting up for a trick?
like bombing a hill, or cruising around, for example? i'd say its more like feet on the bolts, or back foot on the tail, and front foot on the front bolts. who bombs hills clicking their heels like dorothy?
when you think about it, someone bombing a hill "close footing" like Dorothy, would be kind of awesome. you can't really powerslide or pop your nose up a bit for cracks or anything while doing that. quite the commitment.
Most of the shit that's been brought up in this thread so far are all still pretty recent trends.
I'm more tired of some older stuff.
Like homophobia (serious or not. even when used in joking terms I think its just really lame and disrespectful, and a sign of immaturity and someone who can't come up with a better way of explaining something. Its like when people swear a lot while talking, just because they have a limited vocabulary or think that it will always add more gravitas to what they're saying no matter how many times they [over]use it.)
Kids that are only focused on getting hooked up
Jocking
The clothes patrol and outfit police
Hypocrites (which we all are, or have been at some point, no matter what)
People that are oblivious to their hypocrisies
The overly sensitive, and the insensitive.
99% of rich people
People that beg for money
Socially inept weirdos that feel the need to revel too much information to strangers face to face
but if I have to keep it current,
I hate it when people "tag" other people in photos on facebook that those people aren't actually in. its the lamest cry for attention where clearly none is warranted.
