because it turned from a fun little creative project, to a way for steve berra to retire early.
basically they saw that it was gaining alot of followers so they started amping up the stakes with the canteen and all that other skateshop bullshit, even selling their own "brand" in skateshops across the country. Which is all amazing and cool that they were able to turn a personal project into something that made money, but now it just seems vanilla. nobody wants to see the same dudes doing the same tricks on the same shit for that long.
its really just an over-produced skate reality show, where the producers make quick decisions just to put out content just because people will watch it. then they cash in, not paying any of the stars of the show (pro skaters) any money.
its the jersey shore equation. ive seen it a million times.
