An 'incivility' law introduced in Barcelona to crack down on Senegalese hookers on the Ramblas etc has a wide remit for cops to act more or less with impunity in terms of taking boards even when you're not skating so within that context it's probably welcome. Plus almost all the locals are on good terms with DC  since it was one of their bigger markets for oversized logo's historically.

I'd like to hear a barcelona local weigh in on this. I'd have thought skaters there would be pretty bitter about the city's complete raping, but perhaps not. If there was a european berrics, that would make me pretty mad. I like being able to separate modern american skating from everything else in terms of it's overall wackness.

I have done outdoor skatesessions during Chrismas and New Year in Barca in a T-Shirt!
To have a indoor skatpark woud be cool - but for the public - not for a selected group by DC/ Steve Berra.
