Random dudes from video magazines you still remember
« on: September 13, 2012, 02:13:39 PM »
You know the type. Some of these skateboarders may have had more than one part before vanishing, some might've even gotten properly hooked up.. but we all associate them with their sections in 411/Logic/etc videos.

'95. One of my buddies had this video. This was a few years old when I started skating and I still loved this part.

I'm almost certain no one's gonna remember this guy but... Nash Noji. Had a part in Logic 8 I think? it's not even on Youtube, haha.

I remember this guy Genaro Vergoglini  from the 411 videos. Mostly cuz of his name. Apparently, in 2010 he was still ripping:

Also, when I think of 411, I think of Tom Krauser commercials (1.41 is crazy):

Tony Silva - this used to be my favourite video part when I was 13-14 years old. It was probably the first video I saw when I typed in "skateboarding" on Limewire or something.

Where the fuck is he? That kickflip in the line in the beginning is gold.

Seeing the Logic video, I always thought 80's Joe was random.
Glad he's not.

not that random because he was in a lot of thrasher vids in the 90s but with only a few tricks in them.  i always wondered what the deal was with this guy if he was a bit mentally unbalanced or what considering most of the tricks he did.  I don't mean that negatively either, I thought it was sick.

Jeremy Deglopper, I liked him because it seemed like he never pushed
edit:  i just watched the wheels of fortune and he didn't push once in 1:18 of footage until the joke line at the end.  I would have thought his feet were allergic to the ground if it weren't for the two no complies.

Great thread!  JP jadeed was my first favorite skateboarder.  I wrote a journal entry about it in 6th grade.  First videos were 411 33 and logic 7 and he had parts in both.

Fabio christiano
Patrick tucker
Anthony Acosta used to be a video magazine guy.

That greaser Donnie Bianco's airwalk on Love gap always stuck out as being rad to me.

Can't remember his name at all, but I remember in his 411 part/profile/whatever the fuck he ducked and rode under a moving truck. Like a real full size truck that was cruising on the street. Anybody know who I'm talking about?
