Dude's a dick for starting of with a pressure flip, he got what he deserved.

And alcoholic, really?
[close]
just look at him? Dude is clearly an alcoholic a functioning one at that but still.

[close]

he seemed a bit tipsy, I'm not 100% sure that makes him an alcoholic though.
i feel like the fact that he actually showed up says a lot, the normal person would have called up saying they couldn't make it due to being drunk at like 2 in the afternoon but he shows.   I am liking the new pile ck1

the term "caballerial" as in fakie bs 360 seems to be replaced by "caballero". nice half cab caballero bro.

Muska looks like a slightly younger version of my friends creepy uncle now, which makes it all the more hilarious. Dudes permanently high on life.
Also, pretty funny how after every time Davis lands a sketchy trick, the camera cuts to Muska smiling, nodding and giving a thumbs up.

It must be frustrating for Austyn Gillette - who is good enough to beat Mike Mo, first round, but is basically forced to throw the match because Mike Mo has a shoe coming out for one of the website's major sponsors.

Hell, you have to watch a Mike Mo x DC advertisement just in order to watch Mike Mo beat Gillette. No wonder Gillette skated like an asshole.

...NOPE!!!

How are these games sucking so bad?? People are bailing on some basic fuckin tricks. They need to make that flow vs. pro happen or at least get some new people cuz obviously these dudes are over this shit.

The only way these games will get more interesting is by getting rid of those stupid ass rules!

Would be cool to see some wacky no-comply variations instead of those generic flips all the time....

I wonder how pissed Berra is.  Battle at the Berrics was one of his better ideas and its pretty obvious that people are just over it by now.

Forgive me if this is known, but I am pretty sure the skaters are being paid to participate in BATB.  I think many of them are just showing up, getting their appearance checks, blowing off the game, and getting the fuck out.  Just an observation.

Are they really paid? Makes sense I can't see someone like Austyn Gilette voluntarily participating in this.

I have no evidence other than the fact that DC is sponsoring it and that many of the participating skaters seem hesitant to win.  But it seems plausible.  Same thing happened with Street League.

Yeah this kinda sucks now.  Nobody really cares... at all.  I think they should have the three runner ups get a trip or a cruise or something.  And throw in a couple bonuses for the first and second place.  I dunno just something to get people excited.  I guess the prestige has worn off by now and they have to make a gimmick, which is not working at all.  A simple paycheck is not really motivating either.  They should get some strippers and take the winner for night out drinking or doing whatever.  This one was really doomed from the start though.  They need to inject some fucking emotion and fucking balls into the atmosphere.  They should have gotten some good sponsors done a little promotion, but not overhype it and throw in some sick prizes.  Get some of little wayne's strippers in there and make this thing fun again.

I think skateboarding in general is moving beyond caring about freestyle... I mean flatground.
