The Gillete/Corey games sucked. If they didn't want to be there they could've blown it out.

On the conspiracy tip though.

Mike Mo is DC and Marks is LRG...

Wonder if they put people in to 'throw' games?

Did someone already touch on the fact that they refuse to call a varial heel anything but heelflip shuv?
Regardless, I noticed that too. I know that it's used as a casual trick name, but idk... It's a bit weird actually seeing it in writing.
Not a problem though.

Yup. The worst thing is that in a year from now, "varial heel", like the snows of yesteryear, will be gone from this earth. Instead, young skaters are gonna refer to it as that "heelflip shuv" bullshit.

Speaking of it, is the Berrics still as relevant to young skaters as it used to be like 2 or 3 years ago? I couldn't help but notice that kids seem to be talking about Thrasher/Ride Channel/actual videos more than footage put out by the Berrics. For the record, with Thrasher I don't mean the newest "Fatback" but stuff such as David's or Austyn's parts...

Thank you, I was looking for an ad that showed that that terminology was relatively common.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I was always under the assumption that the terminology of the "Varial Heel's & Varial Kickflip's" came from vert skaters, as they would essentially be doing a varial by grabbing the board. The whole "Kickflup Shuv & Heelflip Shuv" term came about in the early years when vert started to die out and everything went to street, since there was no grab involved with doing the trick on flatground, the concept of calling it a varial seemed irrelevant and unnecessary.

Well he beat him in the style department..
Brad's tricks looked 10X better...
I hate flatground "experts" with shitty style.. (cole comes to mind, can do any trick but cant make any trick look good)

Cromer wins for pulling the stickshift on that post game fist bump attempt
also if you read my whole facebook timeline from back in 2007 then this will also prove that magic is real.

Cromer seems like the most humble dude ever. He's been killing it too! As everyone already said, every single one trick of his looked fucking legit. At least, Chaz noticed that too. Probably the first thing he did when he arrived in Chicago was to watch one of Brad's parts.

On a random note, is Chaz Ortiz on Supra?

CROMER WINS! At least in the style/ pop/ not just walking off the set of Jersey Shore categories.
And once again, a really legitimate last trick. If you got to a do a kook trick in order to seal the deal, you need to take a step back and figure out why you're even playing.

I really wanted cromer to win + he had that: "one more stupid word reda and i kill you"-look ... i really like this.

Did Reda call him "Chad" Cromer. If so: Damn it, Reda, you suck even more. Although I do love all the flava he puts into his voice. It makes him look so down--his swag x 300,000, at least.

Ahem, don't you mean a "Caballero" kickflip  ::)

And I thought that was a pretty good game. Really wanted Brad to win. You could tell the audience all wanted Brad to win too. They would cheer every time Brad landed a trick and were pretty much completely silent after every trick Chaz would land, hah.

I think he was making fun of Chaz who called him Brad Comber.
