Bastien must have been having an off day. Not because I expected him to whoop Moose, but because he's perfectly capable of a lot of the tricks he missed.

I just wished that game had gone on for longer as it looked like Bastien was going increasingly mental with each new trick.

Finally a good game...  Moose's nollie backside heel looked fucking sick.  Don't know why, just like accentuated his heel flick so much.  Best part of the match for me.
I suck at SLAP.

So Bastien is moving to the US, we can probably expect a lot of footy. Probably a new sponsor as well?

Quite a character he is. "Dont say shit, say tricks"

it's weird seeing bastien not having really good pop. I figured his pop on all his tricks was pretty high.

This. I love Bastien. Characters like him are what make skateboarding fun. Everything he says and does is both awesome and hillarious. Don't disrespect tricks.

good game. my favorite thing was Bastiens missed switch heel to ninja roll. I'm not even sure why it was just freaking sick.

There isn't really a good reason to pop your shit high on a game of skate. btw does anyone know whats up with bastiens sponsors, is he getting a shoe or a board sponsor, or anything? Dude has high marketing value, since he is succesfully doing one of the most anticipated comebacks in skateboarding right now, but i don't really see him fitting on any of the teams that would have the room to get more people on...

This was a good game. Bastien is always entertaining and both he and Moose were obviously trying. The back-to-back cab double kickflips were ridiculous.

I've noticed that star-huckers like Bastien or Nyjah don't really have a lot of pop, just good control when riding with full speed (to ollie out on a higher handrail). If I remember correctly neither of them ever filmed any trick over a picnic table on flat.

How does Reda manage to fuck up the interviews everytime? It's like he still doesn't understand the concept of regular vs. regular, goofy vs. goofy, so in the end etc....He asks the first guy his stance and then asks PJ if he's goofy?

He switch heel flipped a skatepark six or seven stair in kotr, and did like a waist high back tail in his jart part. His pop is more aggressive, with his knees hitting his teeth, rather than a smooth natural thing, where he would pop every trick high without any effort.

This is true.  Picnic tables are our only gauge of a skateboarder's pop, well that and a game of skate at The Berrics...

Dudes, Carlos Ribiera is a fucking beast.  I love PJ's skating, but god damn Carlos makes that shit look better.  He does this switch tre with so much fucking pop and his nollie flip is the best nollie flip I think I have seen in my life.  Fucking amazing.  Watch this.
