Now do Moose's switch variel heel
[close]
My favorite trick of that whole game. Had to rewind and watch it a few times, it looked so fucking cool. Never seen anyone catch and land a sw varial heel or a regular varial heel like that ever.
[close]

do you do many switch varial heels? thats how they look when you do them mostly with the front foot, then fuck up. kinda gross seeing him do that
I admit I can't do sw varial heels, but I've never seen one like that, despite how common you make landing them like that sound.
And I was stoked on it. I like it when a trick is landed with some imperfection. It beats seeing a generic looking cookie cutter robot varial heel, landed bolts.
I like it when someone lands a trick with minor imperfections, making it their own. Perfection gets boring.

a bolts switch varial heel is a thing of beauty, i think if you could do the trick you would have a different opinion of this example. besides, he pretty much stopped when he landed, he wasn't making it his own, he just landed sideways and tic tac'd his way outta there

I knew that game could have gone both ways because of Sewas nerves, but damn, still disappointed.  I'm glad he had a slight comeback tho and got Paul to 'T'.  Matt even made some calls to try and help Sewa out because some of those tricks really didn't have to be redone.  Oh well, if he didn't lose today I think he would have lost next round anyways, I just wanted to see somebody take Paul down before the finals again (Rodrigo TX).

So now we got Pj and Paul in the finals, obviously not too surprising.  Now all that's left is next weeks two games.

I would personally love to see Pj play Chris Cole again instead of Mike Mo, and I feel like Koston vs Prod would be a good game but so would Prod vs Shane.

It was like prod was actively trying to psych sewa out with that rocky banter and during that fakie hardflip. kinda bummed on that game.

P-Rod put a lot pf pressure on Sewa so he bailed mostly his basics which gave the Rod enough to pull this game.

Kinda bummed though. Wished Sewa would have taken the game.

Sewa rules nonetheless.

You guys are probably right, but it did seem like he was extra off his game today. Just saying it couldve been an amazing game if sewa wasnt so nervous.

I don't think I've ever wanted P-Rod to fail at something as much as I did during his game against Sewa. I'd much rather watch some wild-ass circus tricks than watch the same old shit, which no doubt will most likely be the case with the finals of BATB VI. Bummer.

I'm stoked. Moose and PJ was incredible. No game can follow that.
Plus there is chance of koston vs P Rod and what more can you ask for than that? Haters and lovers are going to be excited for that game if it goes down.

I don't understand how PJ landed such fucked up tricks... That game was fucking crazy though.

I also never realized how awkward Sewa looks on his board. And Paul seemed oddly sloppy, he's usually robotic, but at least he owns up to it.

I have a feeling that this years finals are going to be pretty standard. It would've been perfect if Moose won it all - he deserves it.

how does moose deserve it? pj destroyed him. mike mo or Paul woulda done all the inward heel tricks in a row and taken him out faster if they had played him. it was a great game tho, moose did amazing but lets not get carried away
