I'm pretty sure he was meaning the new Ishod Wheel for the Lock In Classic that is missing from the chart
They just have Conical and Conical Full style lock in on that chart it seems.

Ha yeah, of course, looking at it in the nice clear headed morning light, rather than the so late at night it is early morning and I should have been asleep in bed...

@BALARGUE absolutely correct there.

I even went to the Spitfire site to check what they have up currently, which changed again not too long ago, when they did add the Ishod wheel.

I am dopey sometimes!!

:)

* I am still curious if anyone has seen the newer Lock in shape, supposed to be wider, not the Lock in Fulls, just the normal ones.

Gone since 1988.  I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

99du Conical Full in 54 and 56 mm

I’m pretty sure it’s a black/green swirl, and not glow in the dark. However, a glow in the dark and black swirl set of wheels needs to happen.

Not glow in the dark, these wheels were offered to the shops who went to the last trade show.
They are the same as all the conical full shapes we have in Stock

Just got f4 classics in 60mm.  99a  I wanted to try a big hard wheel.  It is big and heavy enough to go over cracks pretty well.  Also wanted the predictable slide and it delivers.  Really fun wheel.
+1 on this being a super fun wheel. The round edge wheel bites less than conical or radial full shapes. Mine are down to 55mm now after like 10 months and I have another set on ice. Chillin 😎

The F4 Classic in the 60 mm size is really like a big old Classic Full to me, compared to everything else in the Classic range and I really like that about them, so anyone who was really missing the 58 mm Classic Full or any bigger, wider and round shaped wheel should just buy a set of the 60 mm Classic wheels, then go skate some really rough terrain to wear them down nicely, or put them on a sander or get the grinder to them to take off a few mm.

Sometimes I think it feels like cheating to take a new set of wheels and machine off a couple of mm, but it really makes the wheels so much more fun for me anyway.  I tried it recently and it worked great, taking 55 Classics down to 53ish, 56 or 58 down to 54ish, 60 mm Classics down to 58 on size proportionate boards.

So in that regard, I make my own Classic Full shaped wheels, where there seems to be a bit of a hole in the market of Full shapes.

* I also made another set of Radial Slims too, among others recently, but I prefer a little wider for my own wheels.

Gone since 1988.  I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

A bighead shape just dropped in a 57 and 54... might scratch the Full itch... a little...

Agree with he 60mm classic. Great shape/ proportion to that size as it wears. I have some set up at the moment on a wheel-welled Huffer. I won't lathe them down though... the Oregon coast will take care of that...

after trying out all the wheel shapes, i do like classic the best for doing tricks, but need to have the biggest size possible to get the speed + slide that i like. the additioanl speed + slide of the fat riding surfaces like Radial/Conical full is a bit un necessary especially when you are going up to such a big size. adds on even more bulk and makes tricks a bit more difficult.

My 60s are down to about 55 and doing a pretty good radial full impression at this point. Ngl it's a pretty satisfying process.

My perfect wheel would be a classic slim, 1-2 mm more narrow riding surface and a flatter less bulbous radius

It is a funny thing, because I recall the older Bigheads being wider than they are now.  Sure enough, going back and checking some of my old wheels, as well as NOS I still have, they were easily 1 - 3 mm wider depending on the shape, eg my old 57mm were 37 mm wide, when they only did red graphics, not the different coloured graphics for each wheel size.

The most common shape I had was pretty much 56 or 57 mm x 36 or 37 mm wide in all those wheels.  I didn't even think to measure riding surface, but they were comfortable from day one, but widened out nicely over time.

Also the 59 mm Bigheads were 39 mm wide.

As BALARGUE posted in another thread, I saw those Bigheads and thought they were of interest, but also saw they were about the same as normal Classics in overall width anyway.

No they have a wider riding surface. Pretty similar tho
[close]
yeah small differences

No Classic / Classic full in 57mm but

In 54mm
Shape / width / riding surface
Classic / 33.5 / 16.5
Classic Full / 34 / 19
Bighead / 34.5 / 17.5

Classic 58mm / 35.5 / 18
Bighead 57mm / 35 / 18

Can't decide between 99s or the new 97a. I'm not a massive fan of that soggy sound that softer wheels cause when popping. Does anyone know if the 97s cause that?

Mine don't, it's different than 99s but not nearly enough to sound in that soggy range.

Interesting to see that the Bighead shape / Classic Full shape has sort of merged and maybe there will be some more of the wider rounded wheels coming out in the future now.

Guessing someone will post more info, pics or whatever soon enough, but for the time being, I am pretty stoked to get the Radial Full wheels and round them down to Classic XL Full shapes, in both the 54 mm and 58 mm sizes I have on boards right now.

I think I already posted this, but here it is again, cause they are the most fun shape for me - wide and round.

The 97s are quite a bit louder than dragons and 93a spitfire. They are still a little quiet but I think it’s a very good in between sound. I would only use this wheel from now on but the stock is so limited still so I’ll use 99s and old 97s to fill in the gaps.  good luck finding them!

Yeah they would definitely be a good option.  If they do feel a touch too big to start with, just go skate some rough concrete and just to laps to get them down a little as they do tend to wear down maybe a bit faster than normal 99s, but they are worth it.

This is super cool. Reminds me of the spitfires like 25 years ago. every other kids board from CCS with those clear green pig or lucky risers lol

Currently I'm liking just riding classic 56's down to 52 and passing them on

Shows 17 sets remaining in stock - pretty cool for a red / black swirl 55 mm 99 duro Radial shape wheel, even though I have no knowledge or interest in the brand itself, I do like those wheels.
