Just got f4 classics in 60mm. 99a I wanted to try a big hard wheel. It is big and heavy enough to go over cracks pretty well. Also wanted the predictable slide and it delivers. Really fun wheel.
+1 on this being a super fun wheel. The round edge wheel bites less than conical or radial full shapes. Mine are down to 55mm now after like 10 months and I have another set on ice. Chillin 😎
The F4 Classic in the 60 mm size is really like a big old Classic Full to me, compared to everything else in the Classic range and I really like that about them, so anyone who was really missing the 58 mm Classic Full or any bigger, wider and round shaped wheel should just buy a set of the 60 mm Classic wheels, then go skate some really rough terrain to wear them down nicely, or put them on a sander or get the grinder to them to take off a few mm.
Sometimes I think it feels like cheating to take a new set of wheels and machine off a couple of mm, but it really makes the wheels so much more fun for me anyway. I tried it recently and it worked great, taking 55 Classics down to 53ish, 56 or 58 down to 54ish, 60 mm Classics down to 58 on size proportionate boards.
So in that regard, I make my own Classic Full shaped wheels, where there seems to be a bit of a hole in the market of Full shapes.
* I also made another set of Radial Slims too, among others recently, but I prefer a little wider for my own wheels.
