I've rounded out many a wheel. These could be rounded out but I'm over them as is. This flat spot will take some rough hillbombs to get smooth again. I will be passing them on.

I like both for different situations but 97s are more versatile for where I live. Unfortunately, it doesn’t stop me from having multiple setups.

I like both for different situations but 97s are more versatile for where I live. Unfortunately, it doesn’t stop me from having multiple setups.

I'm about to set up my first set of Radial Fulls. Kind of scared.

I am really liking the fact that on wider boards / wider trucks, they look more in proportion than on smaller boards.

Maybe that is just me, OCD or whatever you want to call it, but I have a few sets of the Radial Full 54s on my 159s / 8.75 boards and a set of 58s on 169s on a 9" board right now and they just look right.

When I put some on a smaller board they look kind of funny, although I did still skate well enough on them, but it reduces truck hanger room a little too much for me on 149s.


Maybe too because they do come in 99 and 97 duro options, I can use them on a number of boards for different things, as well as rounding them off a bit to make fat Classics, so I have way more options with them right now, compared to some other wheel shapes.


* Also I was pretty keen to see the Radial Full shape in its own team edition staple now as well, 99 duro, 54, 56, 58 and 60 mm sizes.

Yeah I was initially worried about the loss of hanger width but I skate 169s and it hasn't been an issue.

I agree with you, the 56mm Radial Fulls don't even look that crazy on the 9" with 169s I have them set up on. Looks pretty proportionately correct.

yeah, I've become so accustomed to the radial full shape, it's perfect. I've tried going down to 52mm-54mm classics and it's weird how I feel a lot less stable and my slappies get thrown off cause of how little effort I need to throw em, and I slip out of them easily. I've never been a fan of straight conical type cuts, the roundness on the edges of the radial just make more sense. they do kinda turn into a conical when you really wear them down, though. I actually wish I could find the same exact shape in a different wheel company like bones, oj, or Dogtown K9's in a 95a-97a. I personally don't like the 93a soft sliders (they actually were more like slip sliders for me) or the *new* 97 spits that much.

Just set up some tablets 101. I swear my board flips better with these on. I hate how goofy they look. I think these wheels just work for me.

Goofy ass wheel. I know that Brayan albarenga skates em and that dude can skate flat really good. Also Heitor skates em.

I think it depends on the ledge/rail/coping. On a nice sharp ledge or normal flatbar I would agree. But if its on one of those chubbier flatbars or fat pool coping, it could be more prone to slippage

Personally I prefer classics most when locking/pinching on something sharp or precise. But on stuff thats more rounded, squarer wheels can be quite helpful

Yeah... its probably just me. I've had no issue with Classics before... User error... I'm going through... Changes... IDK... but I don't want to lose smiths...

It looks like Premier is putting out sets of 56 mm OG Classics in 99 du. I’ll probably buy the softgoods.

These 56mm Radial Fulls on AF1 60s are about the same width as an undercarriage consisting of a 9" Ace with 55mm classics.

Everything is the original formula, not the new ones with the teal sticker that says reformulated versions, so people have said until something can be sorted with the chemical / materials.

Sounds like that will be the case with anything coming out now - old formula 97s and no 93s for the foreseeable future.
