Raw Style
« on: December 06, 2006, 09:51:08 PM »
Didn't really know what to call this, but who are the dudes you think of as having their own style, not the chiche super clean robot style, but an individual unique style, not necessarily good, but you know they're not thinking about it or faking it at all, its just how they are.

Examples:
Gonz: Raw. Doesn't give a shit about his rocket flips, or anything else that little skate nerds might hate on, ignoring the fact hes the godfather of everything we hold dear. Looks like hes having fun at all times.

Darrell: Loose, rubbery, hes not faking anything, just skates and lets his body do whatever it wants.

Appleyard too.

personally, I like skaters that look completely out of control but somehow manage to stay in control.  Josh Evin...he's insane and he rules.  Cards and the Antihero team are a given.  Keegan is raw  but does his tricks textbook correct...there aren't a lot of dudes out there that skate like that anymore.  Quinn Starr...is amazing.

Who else is RAW? Emmanuel Fucking Guzman!!!

Ok,

You must be new to the Skateboard game.  This is real industry talk.  "It's all about who you know".  And that's real.
