Too bad Guru Khalsa is not there, but good footy nonetheless.

Skateboarder rules. This video is sick, but I can say with some conviction that I never want to visit India. Not my cup of tea.
Before you say the music sucked, have you considered shutting the fuck up?

The write up in the new Skateboarder mag is pretty awesome too
http://issue.skateboardermag.com/

My girlfriend's half indian so going there at some stage in the next couple years to visit her extended family is a definite possibility. I'm stoked but it looks like a pretty heavy experience.

I was lucky enough to have a state sponsored trip through Pakistan in 2001 just prior to shit hitting the fan. I still cant believe what I saw and I liken the memories to those of a particularly long drunken bender. The impact of being consistently and constantly wowed for an extended period of time was exhausting.

I would love to go back, especially to this place: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mohenjo-daro

City as old as egypt, never been properly excavated and is almost unheard of. It had swimming pools, running sewers and multiple story houses. The works.  Most magnificent thing I have ever seen.

On another note, video and spots were rad.

If you go closer to the source of the ganges near the himilaya it is reeally clean, and fresh, really an amazing place.

Part 1 & part 2 were so good.

Can't believe that guy drove back with Suciu's passport. So incredibly rad for a guy to drive 3 hours just to hand in the passport (Obviously he would've been looked after $$$$)

Also really stoked on Malto. Would never picture him getting out of his comfort zone, let alone go to India.

His comment was that culture shock wasn't an adequate term for the amount of unease/disconnect that he felt in India.  He was saying that when people talk about culture shock, it's usually in relation to something that exists in both cultures while in India, there isn't even any similarity.

EDIT: Where can I see the second part?

click the link to the digital issue in the thread.

just a warning, it may take you a few tries to get the divx player to play the video correctly.  for some reason it wanted to play the video twice asynchronously

Or white boys being there in general, let alone skating their "spots" and filming them.  I'd feel like an asshole being there period.  But if it makes white people feel cultured or whatever going to poor places we bomb, good for them.  I'm sure for every 100 people who hate you, two or three kids get stoked on skating, and that makes it allllll worth it.
