I would generally agree that flip is awful, but some of there stuff is getting better, those above boards arent bad and i like this series by jon contino.

alien graphics are ususally hit or miss. I love all the keith haring stuff they did, but the last two series, "sketchbook" and "send help" are just terrible.

I gotta agree with the Real ones someone posted earlier- they have some really sick "one-offs" but their series with the same template with different colors for different pros are flat out lame- similar to the plan b ones. girl's series can be bland but they make some really sick one offs as well.

working at the plan b art department must be a chill job. anybody with low to mediocre photo shop skills could do the work and put out entire board series in less than 15 minutes.

also, flip had better times, still nothing wrong with penny mushroom graphics in any way. there is are much worse companies.

Not quite as bad, but Girl also did an emjoi series that fucking sucked. I skated that biebel because someone gave me it for cheap, dead. Whoever thinks designing decks around iphones needs to step down and take a long, hard look in the mirror.

He covered the cartoon board, the simspons board, the baseball board, the basketball board, and the generic logo board all in one "series".

Oh and as an FYI to the person who posted the planB stuff, that work is all illustrator (and much harder to pull off the clean gradients and spot color vector work that clean than you think) NOT photoshop.

imagine this, just as a deck. my buddy gets hooked up by this company and i bought a few decks off him for cheep, and this was one of the graphics. this was the first board they did, and theyve had better this since they put shit out, but talk about picking the worst graphic of all time as your first board for your new brand.

From just a graphic sense, Selfish is actually pretty good. Their ideas are horrible but for a start up, they sure picked a decent designer to do all their work.

And I so regret not getting that Western Edition set back when it came out. I hope Ian Johnson does some more work like that on future stuff.

Yeah, I mean I guess in the grand scheme of 'Worst Graphis of All Time" this series probably isn't up there, but I'm merely trying to demonstrate how IMO Toy's graphics have fallen off. Used to have some of the sickest shit in the 90's/early 00's. The obsession with turtleboy/sect has got to go. Nearly at late 90's World level.
