haha, thats crazy! the band I was in played a few shows with his new band The Dilletantes. SF is funny like that, you run into all kind of random people and have no idea that they are famous or whatever. I met this guy a few times who was a friend of a friend, and i found out months later that he was the drummer for AFI. I thought he was gay at first, but I guess he was banging my friend (a pretty nice looking girl). He was hyped when my other friend told him his band sucked. I also found out that the random sound guy at one of my band's shows was the drummer for My Bloody Valentine. It was hard not to fan out when he was taping up my snare drum (and I did keep the tape).
