If you did this via text message couldn't you have done it another time? also a lot of these questions were asked in recent interviews. you sounded like the feds in this interview dick riding and such. When he said that, he was simply stating that he was typing replies on his phone rather than using a computer. His decision.

As far as insight and being a Smolik fan, read the questions - the length and depth in which he chose to answer is his prerogative.

I thought the questions were fine. He obviously wasn't in the mood to do it. You guys are shooting the messenger. Smolik was an amazing skater but white guy gang signs and a borderline juggalo amount of woop wooping don't usually signify a brilliant intellect. Just a interesting character. Except the questions weren't fine. There were too many close ended yes/no questions and it was scattered. You need to have a point in an interview and you need to ask open ended shit in order to get a story or at least get the subject going. Also, if the finished product sucks, don't publish it.
