The first skate film I ever watched was Toy Machine: Jump off a Building, her part in that stuck with me for a long time as a new skateboarder, nothing huge but executed well and some great style...it was relateable for me at a time when everything was step counts and huge handrails.

I was reading an old interview with Jerry Hsu awhile back and in it he mentioned that when he was a kid he had this huge crush on Elissa Steamer and that he wrote her a love letter.
I can’t remember the details but I think that he either mailed the love letter to Tum Yeto or he handed it to Elissa in person.
Supposedly Ed saved the letter.
